What is Consignment & How Does it Work?

Consignment means you provide your clothing or accessories to Yesterday & Today, and we handle the selling for you. Here’s how it works:

Item Review – You bring us your pieces, and we review them based on condition, brand, and market demand.

Acceptance & Pricing – Accepted items are inventoried, added to a shared spreadsheet, and priced by our team.

Selling Process – When an item sells, we carefully package and ship it to the buyer.

Consignment Period – Items are listed for 90 days.

Payment – At the end of the 90 days, you’ll receive 40% of all sales, paid by cash, check, or Venmo.

Unsold Items – If something doesn’t sell within 90 days, you can either pick it up or allow us to donate it on your behalf.

At Yesterday & Today, we accept both men’s and women’s clothing, including ready-to-wear, designer pieces, on-trend styles, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and accessories.

To maximize exposure, your items are often cross-listed on multiple platforms such as eBay, Poshmark, Depop, and Mercari. Buyer offers are accepted at the discretion of Yesterday & Today to help your items sell faster.
